This policy explains what personal information MIGRA Systems (“MIGRA,” “we,” “us”) collects through this website and when you contact us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to inquiries you send us by form, email or phone. It does not cover information we handle while performing a contracted relocation project, which is governed by our agreement with that client.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you request a consultation or quote, or otherwise contact us, you may give us:
- your name, email address and phone number;
- your company name, website and business address;
- details about your project, such as move dates, origin and destination addresses, service requirements, and any equipment inventory you choose to send; and
- anything else you include in your message.
Please don't send us passwords, payment card numbers or other sensitive information through the website or by email.
Information collected automatically
This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and it does not set its own cookies. Like any website, the servers that deliver it receive standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request. Our hosting provider may keep this information in server logs for security and troubleshooting.
The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, and our contact page shows an embedded Google Map. When your browser loads these, Google receives your IP address and browser information, and the embedded map may set Google cookies in your browser. Google's handling of that information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
2. How we use your information
We use the information you give us to:
- respond to your inquiry and prepare consultations, quotes and proposals;
- plan and deliver services you engage us for;
- communicate with you about your project and our services;
- keep business records and meet our legal, accounting and insurance obligations; and
- protect the security of our website and systems.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
3. Marketing emails
If you contact us, we may follow up about your inquiry. We will only send you marketing email in line with applicable law, and every marketing email will tell you how to opt out. You can stop marketing email at any time by replying to say so or by emailing info@migrasystems.com.
4. How we share information
We share personal information only as needed for the purposes above:
- Service providers who work on our behalf, such as our email, website hosting and business software providers. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
- Project partners, such as equipment manufacturers, carriers or other vendors, when needed to plan or carry out a project you have asked us to perform.
- Legal and safety reasons, when required by law, legal process or a government request, or to protect the rights, property or safety of MIGRA, our clients or others.
- Business transfers, as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of all or part of our business, subject to this policy.
When you submit a form on this website, your submission is delivered to our inbox by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a form-processing provider acting on our behalf. If that service can't be reached, the form instead opens your own email program with your message filled in, so you can send it to us directly.
5. How long we keep information
We keep inquiry and project information for as long as needed to respond to you, provide our services, and meet our legal, tax, accounting and insurance requirements. When we no longer need it, we delete it or keep it in a form that no longer identifies you.
6. How we protect information
This website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect the personal information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
7. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct information that is inaccurate; or
- delete your information, unless we need to keep it for a legal or business obligation.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws. To make a request, email info@migrasystems.com or call 888.317.4548. We will need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will not treat you differently for making one.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. We do not track visitors across sites or over time, so this website treats every visit the same way whether or not your browser sends these signals. Google's handling of these signals on the embedded map is governed by Google's own policies.
8. Children's privacy
Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Links to other websites
This website links to other sites, such as Google Maps, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the “Last updated” date above. If we make a material change, we will take reasonable steps to let you know.
